About our Ministry
We are working in is the Catalonia Region of Spain in a city called Vic! This city has a strong Catalan heritage and are more closed off than the other parts of Spain because of that. The majority of adults are Catholic while the majority of young adults are agnostic and atheist. They are lost and confused, searching for answers and desperately need them. Our first few years we are learning a lot, finding which area of ministry we see ourselves in long-term, and discipling the youth and young adults.

We are being sent by our home church, Loganville First Baptist, and partnered with Sharing His Love to receive support.
The church we are partnering with is a little over 5 years old and they are growing rapidly in an unreached area! The pastor is local here and is our mentor and leader. Pray with us for all the people and students we will be pouring in to.

Although we have completed formal Spanish language classes, we continue to actively study and grow in our fluency—both in Spanish and in Catalan. These languages are a vital part of our daily ministry as we disciple, share the Gospel throughout the city, and engage with the local church. We ask for your continued prayers as we pursue deeper language proficiency to better serve and connect with the community.
Another key focus is equipping the local youth to become leaders within their own community. Our presence here is not meant to be permanent. Our mission is to come, support, teach, and ultimately step aside. The young adults we are currently discipling and training theologically are being prepared to take on leadership roles and continue building up their own community.
Our weekly schedule currently involves one-on-one discipleship and theological training with the youth, providing ongoing support and guidance as they navigate their questions and spiritual growth. We are actively leading the youth group, teaching regularly, and collaborating with the youth as they begin to take on leadership roles themselves. Additionally, we assist in preparing and teaching during the Tuesday prayer meetings and occasionally take on preaching responsibilities. Myla runs all kids programming and curriculum,
We are passionate about connecting with new people and extending invitations to join us at church. Building trust and genuine friendships is essential in this community, as relationships often come before openness to spiritual conversations. Our goal is to meet individuals, develop meaningful connections, and invite them to attend church with us on Sundays. We would appreciate your prayers as we distribute Gospel tracts daily and continue forming new friendships.
